For many organisations this cost will be a lot higher. And that’s before you consider the other impacts such as increased noise and disruption, a lack of personalisation and often a reduced “sense of belonging”.
So, while hot-desking and related fads have their place it’s important to understand how your teams work and what makes them and the individuals working in those teams most productive.
Over the coming weeks we will highlight some of these issues in further detail, with the first in this series called “Dashing for a Desk”.
