TwentyTwo helps TCC steer the way

As Tauranga’s civic precinct edges closer to reality, TwentyTwo’s advisory relationship deepens with the appointment of David Lambie to the TCC City Centre Te Manawataki O Te Papa (Civic Redevelopment) Governance Group, as well as Chair of the TCC Civic Administration Building Project Group.

With the governance structure announced at the City Council meeting in mid-March, this is the latest development in TwentyTwo’s long-standing partnership with Tauranga City Council (TCC). The structure is divided into five ‘steering groups’ under the umbrella of the Te Manawataki o Te Papa Governance Group, each tasked with a specific element of the plan to oversee. As independent chairperson, David leads the 90 Devonport Road Commercial Building Fitout group.

Mike Naude, project manager for civic redevelopment projects, says David “brings particular expertise in all aspects of construction and office fitout and that experience will assist in developing a fit-for-purpose and cost-effective administration building.”

“I’m really looking forward to being part of the solution helping drive the continued redevelopment of the city,” says David.
