As we come to the end of a difficult and challenging year, we pause to reflect on some of the positive outcomes, not least the support New Zealanders have provided to each other and their communities. Throughout Covid-19, we united in the care we showed to each other – both emotional and practical.
The TwentyTwo team has therefore decided to give a gift of donations at Christmas – a time when many people need it most – to two charities, the Auckland and Wellington City Missions, rather than the usual individual gifts for our clients. Advisers Steffi McKeown and Daniel Longmire explain more in the following video message…
The Missions are under greater pressure to provide additional support services at this time of year, including Christmas food and gift parcels and Christmas Day lunches. And donations help all these services run smoothly.
