TwentyTwo’s Paul Mautz, was recently invited to join a panel hosted by the Real Estate Authority (REA) as part of its in house training programme. Themed Success in Service, the event brought together three industry leaders to share their perspectives on lifting professional standards across the real estate sector.
Representing the commercial real estate sector, Paul was joined by panellists from the residential and rural sectors. Together, they fielded questions about their experiences with the REA, provided feedback on areas where greater support could be offered, and explored how the REA could continue to balance its dual role as regulator and educator.
The discussion also covered the current state of each sector, with panellists highlighting emerging trends and key developments shaping the future of real estate in Aotearoa. The conversation sparked thoughtful questions from the audience and reinforced the importance of cross sector collaboration.
REA Chief Executive Belinda Moffat thanked the panellists for their time and insights, noting the positive engagement from REA staff and the value of hearing directly from industry practitioners.
As licensed agents under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008, TwentyTwo is proud to support the ongoing development of the real estate profession.
