If you wandered past on of our our offices recently, you may have caught a few unexpected ABBA singalongs! The TwentyTwo team is still buzzing after our latest 22 Day in Wellington, a regular chance for us to come together, step out of the day-to-day and focus on the bigger picture.
These sessions are all about pausing to reflect on our progress, sharing insights across the business and planning for what’s ahead. This 22 Day, the team covered a lot of ground:
- Strategy update – Managing Director Dean Croucher gave an update on how we’re tracking against our strategic priorities and where we’re heading next.
- Technology in action – Johan Meyer showcased our technology managed advisory services that are now rolling out to clients, showing how data and digital tools are changing the way property portfolios are managed.
- Future of work – Kate Horton shared insights from her recent research into work, hybrid models and what the return to the office looks like five years on from Covid.
- Elevator pitches – Adam Hovell, Paul Mautz and Philip Langenhoven each delivered two-minute “hook” pitches on who TwentyTwo is, capturing the depth and diversity of expertise across our tribe.

Beyond the formal updates, 22 Day is always about connection, sharing ideas, asking questions and sparking new thinking across different parts of the business. It’s a reminder of the breadth of what makes TwentyTwo, TwentyTwo.
And of course, we never finish without a bit of fun. After a full day of discussion and inspiration, we capped things off with drinks at Hummingbird before heading to Mamma Mia! for a night of singing, dancing and plenty of laughs. The perfect finale to a full-on day.
